No, this is not a scam. TR Growth CRM is free or incredibly affordable with the Pay What You Want Plan for multiple reasons.

  1. This is technically a beta version. Being self-funded and only working with a developer makes it tricky to  update the app and website while providing support to users and doing marketing. So no, it's not a scam and it comes at a cost.
  2. The inability to automatically track and record email exchanges with your contacts is a vital feature that is missing from TR Growth CRM. There is a solution for this but its not as efficient as other CRMS which automatically do this for you.
  3. Did I mention the lack of support. Other high-quality CRM solutions provide technical support, training and onboarding, a customer success or account manager, and anything else you can think of. Over here, it's just me 🙂 But give me some time, I will likely make some tutorials and training content.
  4. Recognizing the vital role a CRM plays in business success and the barriers many emerging entrepreneurs face, I'm driven by a personal conviction to give back. Having grown up in a single family low-income household but with abundant community resources, I understand their value firsthand. Providing TR Growth CRM for free or at an affordable cost is a tangible way of fostering inclusivity, empowering entrepreneurs from diverse backgrounds.
